My name is Karen and I'm a fully qualified and experienced practitioner in complimentary therapies and proud owner of LiveWell Staffordshire.

With a 35 year background in nursing, health visiting and public health I have a wealth of experience and additional qualifications in women's health, fertility, pregnancy, menopause, children and young peoples health, health promotion and also cancer care. I trained in Reflexology in 1999 with the Practitioners School of Reflexology at St. Mary's university in Twickenham and began incorporating treatments in my role as a palliative care nurse in Teddington Memorial Hospital and later, when I moved to Staffordshire at Katharine House Hospice . I trained staff at the hospice to offer hand massage to patients; you can't underestimate the power of touch in supporting with end of life care. I also offered treatments to staff to help support with their wellbeing and stress levels. 

As a nurse, continued professional development (CPD) is exceptionally important to ensure safe and best practice and this is also the case as a complimentary therapist. 

I have completed training and qualifications in Indian head massage, baby massage and I am a qualified Hypnobirthing antenatal teacher.

I have recently completed the revolutionary training in Zone Face Lift with none other than the award-winning, world class facial specialist ~ Ziggie Bergman.
